haha, uhhh - Lacey made me - BUT - there were about 40 'EPIC' train carts parked ...and this trip is sorta 'epic'!
15 miles today – 1617 miles total!
Granada, CO – Lamar, CO
A great morning saying farewell to Ben & Jolene as they dropped Lacey and I off and continued North to Denver. I CAN’T TELL you how good it is to have friends/family & others join me on this trip. Our moments shared on the road are unforgetable – there is something very special about this, …and I’m loving it. I also had an outstanding conversation with my mother today in Georgia – she is a beautiful woman – inside & out.
A hot 15 mile day that was quickly complete in 4 hours (THANKS to the Whited Family in Lamar for hosting us and allowing me to store half of my pack weight at the house) – this makes SUCH a big difference in our stamina!
